Turkish Delight – located on Spring Garden Road – a quick and affordable lunch option offering a 10% discount for our students! They offer traditional Turkish food such as Kebap and Doner, as well as, seafood, soups, rice, vegetables. (Prices range from $5.99 - $9.99)

Bubba Ray’s Sports Bar – located on Spring Garden Road – offers full lunch and dinner menus that include burgers, sandwiches, and pastas as well as over 65 flavours of chicken wings. The restaurant is co-owned by Mike Smith, the star of the popular Halifax-produced Trailer Park Boys TV show. (Prices range from $3.99 - $9.99 for appetizers and entrees, with larger servings of chicken wings being more expensive).

Chabaa Thai – located on 1546 Queen Street, just up from Spring Garden Road – offers a full menu of Thai offerings, including beef, chicken, noodles, curry and seafood, among others. Lunch specials are available every day. (Prices range from $9.50 to $13.50).

Pete’s Frootique – located on Dresden Row off of Spring Garden Road – offers fresh made salads, sandwiches and daily specials. As well, they have a full grocery market, with fruit, vegetables, breads, cheeses, meats etc. They have a small section of premade foods (fresh) that are quick and easy to pick up. Rogues Roost – located on the corner of Spring Garden Road and Queen Street – their menu offers salads, soups, pastas, and sandwiches of local and international flavours. They have a micro-brewery on site, so they offer all locally made beers of different varieties. (Price range $6.99-$12.99)
