TOEFL/IELTS Preparation Program

Description
  • Beginner students will start in General English classes and progress to the English for Academic Purposes courses
  • After completing level 5 of English for Academic Purposes program, students can begin the TOEFL /IELTS preparation course as the core class
  • Students will prepare for all aspects of the TOEFL/IELTS
  • Students who successfully complete the program can register and write the official TOEFL test at ALCC
  • ALCC is an ETS authorized TOEFL iBT centre
Duration
  • Each term of TOEFL/IELTS Preparation is 8 weeks long
  • TOEFL/IELTS Preparation course is only offered in every other term
Requirements
  • Students will take written and oral placement tests on the first day to determine English level
  • Students tested at Beginner or Intermediate Levels will be placed in General English or English for Academic Purposes program first and then progress into the TOEFL Preparation course
  • Students tested at advance level will be eligible to enter the TOEFL /IELTS Preparation course directly
